Tom – ” We’ve been in Lismore for 7 years now and in business here for 6 years. I’ve worked a lot so now it’s time to have a big break. We fly out on the 9th June to Germany which is my birth country. We will visit my mum who turns 75 and my dad is not well so I may have to look after him a bit.
We will then go to Berlin where we will get married and our honeymoon will be in Croatia. After that we go to France and then we head to Brighton where some guys we know from Lismore are getting married. Back to Germany and then 3 months in Ibiza.
We are doing house sitting, actually pet sitting so accommodation is sorted in all our travels. From Ibiza we travel to Austria for a white Christmas and Berlin for New Year. We want to go somewhere warm after Berlin so maybe Morocco or perhaps Botswana, Africa.
We will definitely come home to Lismore because I want to open up a Bavarian beer garden in town. I will probably rent a chair form Alex, the new owner of The Boys and cut hair a couple of days a week.
We want to thank all our clients for the last 6 years. It’s been so great. We’ve made life long friends and we hope they all support Alex in his new venture here.
We have someone lovely who is taking our dogs for the year but we have a lovely old puss who needs a new home. His name is Kitty, he’s 14, desexed, house trained, doesn’t hunt and is just happy to have company and be fed. He is great with dogs and he is healthy. We would love it if someone takes him.”
