We are certified organic farming and have 5 acres just on the other side of Kyogle. We sell all our products here in Lismore to Fundies, Goanna, Lismore Organic Market, Found, Santos and more.
I love eating well, I love feeding people. It’s really fulfilling to feel like you’re making a difference and helping people. We have been certified for 5 years, mixed fruit and vegies. We have a huge range that we grow, sometimes up to 40 different varieties at once. I can never choose. Each year I think I’ll only focus on 10 lines then it ends up being 20 and more.
Both my parents are really conscious about health, organics and wellness but I think Im taking it a step further. They think I am totally anal about food, which I am and I think it’s what led me to growing my own food. I wanted to feed myself really well, so lots of nutrient dense foods.
I love how in my business people are so open to eating well, to explore eating random things and how open and willing people are to eating different foods. Here in this area we are appreciative of our food. Also the soil here is awesome as is the weather. We have great growing conditions! We are so lucky!……..I just feel like this area is my tribe.”
