Due to the current problems we are facing in Australia I asked the girls how they felt living in Lismore as Muslim women?
“It’s better than other cities, we feel more secure and safe here, we hear stories from our friends in other cities and we are happy here. People are friendly in Lismore, they say ‘hello’ and ‘good morning’ and in Sydney when you meet someone, no greeting, just pass you..no greeting like here, it is very nice. and we are are enjoying studying here!”
