Robyn – (Lismore Farmers Market co-ordinator) “I’ve been living in the area for 20 years now, I’ve raised my 4 sons here living in The Channon village which I love incredibly. I’m a pre- school teacher and Community Service teacher and I’m also at uni this year which is exciting. For me it’s about keeping our generations here, our next generation, making sure they have venues and places to sell their produce, their goods, promote farming, clean living, clean water, dirty dirt. So really it’s just about trying to keep everyone in regional Australia and if we can keep providing employment then our next generation will stay and not move on. It’s about community, it’s about country!”
