Luke – “I’ve just come home from Tamworth and I really enjoyed singing about our North coast to the country audience over there. Great to see Luke O’Shae get all those golden Guitar awards and a great response from the audiences I sang to, singing about protecting our land against CSG. I’m working on my new album this year, will be all about our North Coast towns and people and will be a nice change to get off the topic off CSG a bit. I’ve gone through lots of different seasons in Lismore! I came up here 20 years ago, went to uni and now I have these little people and I’m in my early 40’s, I think it’s a good place to bring up children mainly because there’s a strong sense of connectedness and community. Life’s not so compartmentalised as it is in bigger cities, I guess we’re a bit more holistic here. We get to enjoy the countryside as well as the development of our city. I was inspired in Tamworth by Luke O’Shae and looking forward to getting my new album out. I went to Canada to sing and sang for a few nights in Whistler. I loved singing about our town and our little mountains there amongst those big mountains..I loved that!”
