Lee – ” The quilts that you can see here I am still working on. My Aunty Val passed away 17 years ago and her daughter still had all her clothes as she just couldn’t let them go so what I’m doing here is I’ve taken all her clothes and I’m creating quilts for my 3 cousins. I loved my Aunty Val so it is a complete labour of love. The first quilt I’ve done in Autumn colours mostly from her shirts and the second is summer colours, the third will be a mix of what is left. It will be special for them to each have a beautiful momento of their mum”
