Jeht – ” I started making clothes when I was very young and have always loved art and textural things. I got my first sewing machine when I was 10 and I went home and made a dress, wore it to school and bang! that was the start. I love inspiring others to get creative and expand their minds into thinking outside of the box. I make a lot of the clothes and I have another lady called Denise who is a costumer who makes fabulous embroidered pieces plus another 15 local artists who put pieces in from bags to jewellery to ceramics to artworks. I want this to be a place where people go “wow look at all the talent in Lismore”, look at all these creative people” and have it as a one stop gallery. I love sharing my passion with people and creating something from nothing and I love Lismore.”
