“I’m very passionate about revitalising the CBD and this is only one of a dozen events that we have been planning over the last 6 months. This event today is a lead up to the show, going back to the days where the show use to interact with the business community, with a parade etc! This is the first little step with what we hope will be a bit more of a celebration, where we can close roads down and have the whole show parade through town. That’s something that hasn’t happened since around 1990. I took over as Lismore City Manager in April this year so as of today it’s exactly 6 months”
