Busara with Pixie

“ We are an extremely busy family! We started ‘Cafe Oneone4’ 2 years ago on the back of ‘561 Alpahadale’. We had Alphadale for the past 5 years and pretty much we wanted an outlet which was in town.
We have 4 children! There is Dexter who is 10, we have Suki an 8 year old girl, Jaxon who has just turned 3 and Pixie who is 10 months so trying to juggle everything is extremely hard but we manage our busy life.
Peter has just taken on the wholesale business side which is a new business again with Andy Pierce called ‘Cherry Tree Kitchen’ and that’s also really busy and going really well now so we are both running around like headless chooks. In my down time I look after the kids, cook food for the cafe, actually we don’t really have downtime at the moment.
I originally came from Melbourne but I’ve been here 10 years now, Peter is originally from Clunes and Kyogle so he was born and raised here. I came to Australia when I was 6 with my mum from Thailand. Before I met Pete I was doing Interior Design at RMIT and I also worked for Aqua Hotels, Novotel, Sofitel and Mecure Grand so have always been into hospitality
I love the diversity and the culture of this town. I like the fact that we are close to the ocean and really close to the mountains. Its just a beautiful region. We live out on Macadamia country which is just gorgeous and plenty of space for the kids.. We’re on 10 acres so my son can ride his motorbike. Countryside, I love the countryside”
