What’s the funniest job you’ve ever had?
Anna – “The funniest job I’ve ever had was in the early 90’s when I was in Art School and I had a job tele-marketing from midnight till 4 in the morning. Because I didn’t really want to wake up I would take my chamomile tea and a packet of seeds and sit there in semi pyjamas and everyone around would be in high heels and red lippy.
We had to sell a few different products, one of them being the ‘Flowbee Home Haircutting System’ with the caption ‘guaranteed the same hair cut every single time’ You would have to plug the attachment to your vaccuum cleaner and it would suck up your hair and then snip it off. ‘And if you buy that right now for and extra $349 you can also receive the Flowbee Pet groomer’ which worked the same way. We had every insomniac ringing up.
