‘What makes you happy?’…. “My dog makes me happy! She’s a 3 year old Kelpie cross called Moo who loves beaches and swimming pools and hates rivers. I do love Moo!”
‘What makes you sad?’…..”Being bored makes me a bit sad cause I feel like I should be doing something. I just got a second job so that keeps me busier.”
“I grew up in Nashua and moved into Lismore in 2000. I moved to Melbourne for a little while but I’ve come home cause I like the country. I love the vibe and the community spirit here. Everyone talks to each other whereas in the cities people don’t have that connection. I love meeting people in the streets and being able to have a conversation and hairdressing’s a great job for that.”
‘Where do you see yourself in 10 years?’ “I got into hairdressing to be able to travel eventually. Just grab my scissors and comb and travel anywhere. I’m not sure where yet as it’s a big world but I want to end up in Texas doing BIG hair, big Texan housewife hair and find myself a Texan cowboy!”
